BLW Beginners

I recognize some of you are Baby-Led Weaning beginners. If you’d like to check out my instagram posts, it will show my son’s progression of eating. By the way, I’m not an expert, but here’s our list of first foods:

  • Avocado
  • Sweet Potato
  • Broccoli
  • Carrots
  • Potatoes
  • Chicken
  • And so on…

We left the vegetable or fruit in its natural state and did not use seasonings in the beginning.  We would steam the food we were offering if it wasn’t soft enough. There’s a lot to learn about BLW. I always recommend doing you own research before diving  in to make sure it is right for you and your family. We started at 6.5 months and never turned back. We love it!
