Chickpea Snack Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 can garbanzo beans organic if possible
  • 1 tbs. olive oil
  • 1 tbs. coconut sugar
  • 1 tbs. maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • Wash garbanzo beans and drain
  • Rub off shells and remove (don't worry about removing it all, just try to)
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Bake garbanzo beans for 20-30 minutes, check every 15 minutes and shake baking sheet for even cooking
  • In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients
  • When beans are crispy, transfer them to a bowl and mix in maple syrup mixture
  • Bake for another 5 minutes to carmelize
  • Cool and allow to dry and serve
