Chewy Granola Bars

Chewy granola bars are perfect for a quick and easy snack

Ingredients

  • ½ c. honey
  • ½ c. peanut butter
  • 1.5 c. rolled oats
  • Chocolate chips or desired toppings (optional)

Instructions

  • Note: no honey before one years old!
  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • In a bowl, mix honey and peanut butter until well combined
    Peanut butter in a glass bowl, oats and chips
  • In a small sauce pan, pour honey and peanut butter
    Melted peanut butter mixture
  • Cook on low until melted
  • Mix with rolled oats
    Mix of oat and peanut butter mixture
  • Add chocolate chips, or cranberries

  • In a baking dish, press down oats mixture until even
    Spatula on rolled oats mixture
  • Bake for 15 minutes
  • Allow to cool and cut into bars
